Christian Vande Velde did not get his miracle. He is out of the Tour already with some broken ribs. Ouch! Also, due to the intense cobbles yesterday, Frank Schleck went down hard and broke his collarbone. Amidst the chaos, Lance had a puncture and was caught out alone. So all in all now only 4 days into the race and we have lost 2 GC contenders and Lance has his work cut out for him!
